Farkle is a dice game for 2 to 4 players played with six dice. Each roll you must set aside at least one scoring combination — each 1 is worth 100 and each 5 is worth 50, three of a kind scores 200 to 1,000, a full straight scores 1,500 — then either reroll the remaining dice or bank your points. A roll with no scoring combination wipes out every point from that turn, and the first player to bank 5,000 points wins.
Play now — it's freeThe game uses six dice, with two to four players at our tables taking turns in order.
The goal is to be the first player to bank a total of 5,000 points or more. No exact score is required: reaching or passing 5,000 ends the game immediately in your favour.
Each turn begins by rolling all six dice. You must set aside at least one scoring combination from the roll (see the table below); dice that score nothing cannot be kept.
After keeping, you choose: reroll the remaining dice to build a bigger turn score, or bank your accumulated points to your total and end your turn.
You may keep only part of a combination if you prefer — for example, keep just three dice out of four of a kind and reroll the fourth — and your keep is scored using its best split into combinations.
There is no minimum opening score in our rules: you may bank any positive turn score, even a single 5 for 50 points.
Each combination and its value; longer sets multiply the triplet — four of a kind doubles it, five of a kind quadruples it, six of a kind gives eight times:
| Combination | Points |
|---|---|
| Each single 1 | 100 |
| Each single 5 | 50 |
| 1-1-1 | 1,000 |
| 2-2-2 | 200 |
| 3-3-3 | 300 |
| 4-4-4 | 400 |
| 5-5-5 | 500 |
| 6-6-6 | 600 |
| Four of a kind (e.g. 1-1-1-1) | 2× the triplet (2,000 for aces, 800 for fours) |
| Five of a kind | 4× the triplet (1-1-1-1-1 = 4,000) |
| Six of a kind | 8× the triplet (1-1-1-1-1-1 = 8,000) |
| Straight 1-2-3-4-5-6 | 1,500 |
| Three pairs | 1,500 |
| Two triplets in one roll | 2,500 |
Combinations can be combined in a single keep: 1-1-1 with 5-5-5 counts as two triplets for 2,500, while 1-1-1 with a single 5 scores 1,050.
If a roll contains no scoring combination at all — such as 2-2-3-4-6-6 — it is a Farkle: you lose every point accumulated in that turn, including dice you had already set aside, and play passes to the next player.
Points you banked on earlier turns stay safe; a Farkle only wipes out the current turn.
Set aside all six dice within one turn and you earn Hot Dice: you reroll all six dice and continue your turn with your accumulated points intact.
After the sixth keep you may also bank immediately instead of rolling — the choice is yours.
The first player to bank points that bring their total to 5,000 or more wins the game on the spot.
Each game starts with a rotating first player, every turn runs on a timer, and if a player stalls or disconnects an AI assistant plays their moves so the table never jams.
Six dice, each with faces 1 through 6. All six are rolled at the start of every turn.
Two to four players at our tables; everyone plays for themselves.
5,000 banked points: the first player to reach or pass 5,000 wins immediately — no exact score required.
Each 1 scores 100 points and each 5 scores 50 points, and either can be kept as a single scoring die.
1-1-1 scores 1,000; 2-2-2 through 6-6-6 score the face value × 100 (so 4-4-4 = 400). Four of a kind doubles the triplet, five of a kind quadruples it, six of a kind gives eight times.
A roll with no scoring combination wipes out every point from your current turn — including dice already set aside — and your turn ends. Points you banked earlier stay safe.
Set aside all six dice in one turn: you reroll a fresh set of six and keep playing your turn with the points you have accumulated. You may also bank instead of rolling.
